My god. I've just come back from what is possibly the best gig i've ever been too. They played through the whole album, but along the way Damon played...argh i can't remember the Blur song, but it was from Parkilfe era. Argh, the name escapes me. It'll come. So, when they finished the album, they had 3 minutes break, then came back for 2 b-sides (Back In The Day and Mir Whippy) and then................

GUNS OF BRIXTON!!!!!!!

Yes, the legendary Clash song!!!!!! Damon on Simon's green Fender Cyclone,, Simon switches to Pauls white Bass and Paul takes the white Fender Stratocaster that Simon has been using all night. Paul of course sings. The result: A fucking marvelous cover of the Clash's Guns Of Brixton!!!!!!! (The first time this song has been played live with a member of The Clash included, in around 30 years i guess). This is the last and final song of the evening, and the one that gets the crowd shouting for more, for around 10 minutes after the band has left the stage!! Bloody brilliant gig!!! I guess they will do something like this on every gig they do this week. I'm going to the gig in Aylesbury, and i am personally hoping for Song 2. This is the last gig in the UK tour, so it'll be something special. As for the Bristol gig. Simly amazing. Fucking spectacular.
